Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master's program in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of AI/ML principles and methodologies, with a focus on deep learning (DL) and reinforcement learning (RL).
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, showcasing strong communication and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Replicate research papers on pairs trading and other advanced trading strategies using DL and RL techniques.
- Develop a PyTorch-based framework for training and testing models or RL agents focused on pairs trading, ensuring robustness and scalability.
- Implement data parallelism and train models/agents in a multi-GPU environment, optimizing performance and efficiency.
- Utilize TensorBoard for visualizing the training progress, enhancing the transparency and interpretability of the model development process.
- Research and develop algorithms to facilitate and streamline the training process.
- Collaborate closely with traders and software engineers to integrate ML/AI models into the trading and investment processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar deep learning frameworks. Experience or knowledge in multi-GPU programming and parallel computing. Understanding of financial trading strategies or a strong interest in financial markets. Creativity and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for innovation in AI/ML.
